Sometimes I am just so out of it – exhausted and dragging.

The other day, I made a reservation online, and shortly thereafter I got a call from them and they said, “We just wanted to make sure you know we are in Roanoke, Indiana.”

Nope! But thanks for the heads up!! (I’m in Texas…)

Anybody else out there a hot mess?

It’s totally okay to feel overwhelmed once in awhile – after all I’m sure you have TONS to do. Running around doing errands, going to work, dropping off the kids, paying bills, trying to eat and sleep and keep it all together.

BUT – I just don’t want you to think that that’s the status quo. It doesn’t have to be like that – all the time.

When I got married and had kids I was a chronic hot mess – always up to my neck in stress. Day in and day out, it didn’t go away. I started to think it was just normal – like hey, life sucks and you’re stuck in it.

I think in a lot of ways it’s become a standard mentality in a lot of women’s lives, like that’s just how it is – tough luck.

Men on the other hand, they might be tired and stressed out, but they just grab an energy drink and shrug it off. They don’t always admit the emotional turmoil they’re going through.

This can make their wives feel even more stressed out, like they’re going through it alone and they’re crazy for worrying so much.

Life is better than that though. It is totally possible to get good sleep, have enough energy and re-engage with your life. Stress shouldn’t be a lifestyle, it should only be a temporary hurdle.

Are you done being a bystander on the sideline of your own life? Are you tired of feeling tired and sick of just getting by? Financially and emotionally?

I believe in working on your health from the inside out.

This means focusing on self care in multiple ways – emotionally, nutritionally, physically and psychologically.

I work with a lot of people who want to see real change in their appearance and lose weight fast, but what they find is a much more sustainable life change than a diet, which allows them clarity, financial freedom, time with their family, boosted energy and self confidence. The journey isn’t just on the outside!

I would love to talk to you about filling the nutritional gaps in your life so you can start seeing real change and start feeling like the real you.

Not to spoil the ending for you, but everything is going to be okay.

When you start reaching out and utilizing your resources, you’ll realize that anything is possible.

Try something new that will get you out of your comfort zone and out of your head.

I’m always looking for ways to get me out and about and meet other women. I’ve had friends suggest yoga and cooking classes, and church is always a great option.

Take 15 minutes out of your day to take care of yourself. Treat yourself to a delicious cup of hot cocoa or something pumpkin flavored. Practice daily affirmations to promote self love.

Get physical! Start walking up the stairs instead of the elevator, and park as far away as possible from the supermarket so you get a little more exercise in.

This is just the beginning. Take a leap of faith and reach out! What’s stopping you?
